Sir Cumference has been a Disk Jockey on KFJC since 2010. He’s been a listener of the station since the early 80s – when the Wave of the West was really the Wave of the West! Previously, he was employed at a PBS station in the Silicon Valley that is – like so many of his past employers – no longer operating.
Sir’s first foray into radio was amplifying a Mr. Microphone with his best friend and broadcasting to his friend’s cul-de-sac. In the 90s he spent some time at KALX under the nom de guerre of The Prisoner (a name he gave up when he joined KFJC, which already had a DJ with a similarly themed name).
Sir has always been in some form of entertainment exhibition: books, film, radio, television, stage and lately the internet. He attempts to pass his interest on to others as part of the training department at KFJC, preparing the new recruits for their new lives as KFJC Disk Jockeys!
